Zuma swims 9,207 km from Singapore to South Africa after doctors attempt to remove 3000kg of corruption from his belly during operation
Former President Jacob Zuma is back in South Africa after almost receiving medical treatment abroad.
It is said that Zuma, who is very sick, swam 9,207 km from Singapore to South Africa in the ocean to get away from doctors who tried to perform an operation on him to remove what they called a pile of corruption from his belly. “I could not do it. I could not let them take away my corruption. It is my life”, Zuma said.
Zuma, who swam from Singapore to South Africa in just 24 hours, says swimming is not really his thing, but this time he had no choice. He had to do it. “Otherwise they were going to take away my corruption”, he said.
Zuma arrived in Durban in the afternoon on Friday wearing only a pair of blue boxers. He is expected to implement load shedding today.
